Gratitude - The Driving Source Behind Our Success Story
May 10,2022The only thought that has persisted throughout the Sandu Developers illustrious journey is our immense GRATITUDE towards everyone who’s been with and stood by us in this journey.
Our Journey of BUILDING BEAUTIFUL BUILDINGS began in the year 2007 with AKSHAY ANAND, a project we hold very dear to our hearts.Our Founders, Mr Dhananjay Sandu and Mr Yashodhan Sandu, were budding entrepreneurs then, with virtually zero experience. They got through with the faith and blessings of their parents and family members. Beautiful elevation to large decks, landscaping on each floor, the project was indeed a dream come true. There also needs to be a special mention of our Architect Mr Jayendra Patel, without whom our journey would be incomplete. The one who taught us the key mantra of becoming a CUSTOMER’S DEVELOPER - someone who thought from a customer's perspective.
Though we began AKSHAY ANAND under the aegis of YASH Developers, we eventually metamorphosed into SANDU DEVELOPERS. Adding our family name meant placing the family values of transparency, social consciousness, honesty, quality, as the guiding principles, and above all over 100 years of GOODWILL earned by our forefathers at stake. Throughout this momentous journey, we have both always abided by these principles and ensured that the family name stands tall. We very well understood that this could happen only if we continually appeased all our stakeholders and this has been our prime motto since the start of our journey.
As time went by, we progressed from AKSHAY ANAND to SANDU SAMRUDDHI, SANDU AUMKAAR, followed by SANDU RUDRAKSH and many more. And as we narrate our journey today, the company has already delivered/completed 6 projects with about 4 others in various stages of advanced construction.
REAL ESTATE in Mumbai has been through a lot of turmoil (changing rules of BMC approvals, RERA, GST, demonetization, etc.). There have been many highs and lows, exciting yet full of challenges. While we navigated through such tumultuous times, we may have irked a few, while also not having succeeded in satisfying some others. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere apologies for any inconveniences caused. In hindsight though, we did try our level best to do a fair job at fulfilling all major commitments despite the many odds that came our way. At the core, our intentions have always been clean and sincere.
This has been a collective JOURNEY wherein everyone including society members, buyers, lawyers, channel partners, bankers, have played integral roles. Even during seemingly difficult situations, we’ve emerged out of each as wiser men, having learnt some practical lessons, while staying true to our guiding principles.
At the outset, it also gives us great joy to announce that one amongst our 11 odd projects is an International School which we brought to Chembur to be operated by JBCN. Despite the difficult times we had to endure during the peak of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we managed to complete the project with great hardships. We feel truly honored to have had the opportunity of creating this temple of learning.
These initiatives are a way of offering our humble tribute to our forefathers Shri D. K. Sandu, Shri Shridhar V Sandu, and our maternal grandfather Shri Shankar G Pethe. They are also dedicated to another very special man who has had a profound influence on our thought process, Shri Ramesh V Vaze. His words, “WORK HARD, BE SINCERE & THINK BIG” have been our GURUMANTRA. All our elders have led by example by contributing immensely to the fields of education and health creating an enormous social impact. As we continue to follow in their illustrious footsteps, we aspire to do so much more. We at SANDU DEVELOPERS have only just begun to spread our wings!
